I was born and raised in Liberia, experienced the United States as a student, and built a new life in Canada. Living in three different countries gave me something rare: the ability to see what works in other societies and what Liberia is missing—not because of lack of intelligence, but because of lack of connection.

Everywhere I went, I kept meeting Liberians who were nurses, engineers, IT specialists, lawyers, construction professionals, pilots, and entrepreneurs. Highly trained people doing extraordinary work. But when I looked back home, the Liberian government and businesses were still hiring foreign consultants because they believed Liberians didn’t exist with those skills. The problem wasn’t that we lacked talent. The problem was that Liberia couldn’t find its talent. I realized this was a national gap—and an opportunity. What if there was one platform where Liberia’s global talent could be found instantly?

What if a Liberian civil engineer in Canada could be hired for a project in Liberia? What if Liberian students could access diaspora mentorship? What if the diaspora could finally contribute in a structured, impactful way? That question became the foundation of the Liberian Professional Network (LPN).

I built LPN because I believe the future of Liberia depends on connecting the expertise of Liberians everywhere. I built it because no Liberian professional should be invisible. And I built it because our nation deserves to tap into its own strength.

LPN is more than a platform—it is a bridge between where we are and where we can be.
